happy things: rainy days with open windows, kids who say they love me, breaking language barriers with children, folky songs, drinking lattes, emailing, carrying umbrellas, taking the bus, getting stuck in my apartment cause my doorknob doesn't work and having to be rescued before school, a cat who likes to hear himself talk, balconies, days where i lay in bed all day and listen to audiobooks, baseball games on the weekend, trying to figure out which train and bus to get to the beach, planning august vacations, waiting for brothers to get birthday packages with shark backpacks, sending saharan sand home via korean mail, big headphones, running from bus to overhang to coffee shop, third graders, fifth graders too, long weekends, les miserables in korean, solo trips to the seoul zoo, trying to decide between china and japan.
